Interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prince Yaw Owusu, has sounded a note of caution to his players ahead of their Matchday 24 encounter with Vision FC, warning that recent success must not breed complacency.

Kotoko head into Sunday’s fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on the back of a confidence-boosting 2-0 victory over Young Apostles — a response that helped steady the ship following their Super Clash disappointment against Hearts of Oak. However, Owusu believes the job is far from done.

Speaking to AKSC Media, the tactician acknowledged the psychological lift from the previous win but emphasized that Vision FC will pose a completely different threat.

“It won’t be easy,” he warned.

With the Ghana Premier League season entering a decisive stretch, Owusu is determined to keep his squad grounded and mentally prepared for another stern examination.

“We are ready to face Vision FC. It won’t be easy, but in the end, victory will be ours.”

The Porcupine Warriors are keen to turn their recent rebound into sustained momentum, knowing that consistency will be crucial in their quest for a strong finish. In a competition where unexpected results have become a recurring theme, Owusu’s message is clear — focus and discipline must remain non-negotiable.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm, with Kotoko aiming to leverage home support at the Baba Yara Stadium to secure maximum points and continue their upward trajectory.
