Police Ladies Draw Tough Group for 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers
Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Police Ladies, have been handed a challenging group for the upcoming 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
The draw, conducted on Thursday morning, placed the Ghanaian champions in Group B, which features four teams. Police Ladies will face Nigerian league champions Bayelsa Queens FC, Togo’s Association Sportive de La Kozah, and Benin’s Sam Nelly in the group stage.
This will be Police Ladies’ maiden appearance in the regional tournament, earned after clinching the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League title for the first time last season.
The 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers will kick off on August 23 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, with teams battling for a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
