Asante Kotoko assistant coach Prince Owusu has praised his side’s resilience after clawing back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Medeama SC in a pulsating Ghana Premier League encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Reflecting on the hard-earned point, assistant coach Prince Owusu commended the team’s character and work ethic.

“I’m happy. We couldn’t go out losing all the three points. It was very tough for us but the boys gave a good fight in the second half to draw. We are very happy with the results. We’ve been all over the country considering our schedule, and to perform against one of the best teams in the league, I think the boys has done well,” he said.

The draw moves Kotoko to fifth on the league table with 21 points after 12 matches. They now shift focus to their next assignment — an away trip to face Hohoe United on Matchday 13.
