Ogum Confident in Kotoko’s Momentum After Crucial Win
Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to build momentum following their recent win against Aduana Stars.
Asante Kotoko defeated Aduana Stars 2-0 in Dormaa; ending a four-game losing streak.
Speaking after his side’s triumph, Ogum highlighted how winning breeds confidence and strengthens team cohesion.
“I think we have started, we’ve won, and I believe the confidence of the boys will go up. Teams that always win are very confident and are always united,” Ogum remarked.
He expressed optimism about his players’ ability to maintain their focus and determination, noting that this victory could be a turning point for the team.
“Players of teams that always win are very confident and always united. And once we’ve won, I’m sure the confidence will bounce back, and they will stick together more and work harder than before because this is just the beginning of better things to come,” he added.
Asante Kotoko will look to capitalize on this momentum as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures in the Ghana Premier League.
