Kelvin Nkrumah delivered a stunning extra-time display to fire Medeama S.C. into the semifinals of the MTN FA Cup after a dramatic 3–0 victory over Attram De Visser FC on Sunday evening at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The quarterfinal encounter was fiercely contested for much of the evening, with neither side able to find a breakthrough during regulation time. Despite several attempts from both teams, the match remained goalless after 90 minutes as Attram De Visser matched the Premier League leaders stride for stride.

The Division One outfit arrived in Cape Coast with confidence following an impressive run in the competition. Their campaign had included a commanding 4–0 victory over Eleven Wonders F.C. in the Round of 16, while they also carried momentum from reaching the semifinals of last season’s tournament.

However, the balance of the contest shifted dramatically once the match entered extra time.

Nkrumah emerged as the hero for the Tarkwa-based club, producing a remarkable scoring burst in the latter stages of extra time. The forward found the net three times in quick succession to complete a sensational hat-trick, sealing a convincing 3–0 triumph and bringing Attram De Visser’s impressive cup journey to an end.

The result sends Medeama into the last four of the competition, where they will face Dreams F.C., who advanced earlier after defeating Heart of Lions F.C. in a penalty shootout.

With their place in the semifinals secured, Medeama will now continue their push for FA Cup glory while simultaneously maintaining a strong challenge in the Ghana Premier League.
