Medeama SC to meet President Akuffo Addo today

The 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League champions, Medeama SC will today Wednesday, August 02 2023 visit the President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo at the flagstaff House.

The Tarkwa-based outfit will be visiting him to seek for his warm blessings as they set to embark on their journey to 2023-24 CAF Champions League campaign. The Mauves and Yellow outfit won last season’s league title after beating Tamale City FC 3-0 in the last fixture of the season.

By virtue of clinching the title, they will represent Ghana at the CAF Champions League.

Asuch, ought to visit the stateman and show him the trophy and as well pay a courtesy call on him for a support to Africa.

The visit purposely is to seek for financial support from the President.

Medeama SC received GHS 30,000 as prize money for winning the league which is sponsored by betting company BetPawa.

The Mauves and Yellow club is paired with Nigerian outfit Remo Stars Sports Club in the preliminary stage and will have the advantage to host them in the first leg at Cape Coast Stadium before travelling to Remoland for the reverse fixture .
