Negeri Sembilan FC have completed the signing of prolific Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso, securing a major boost to their attacking options ahead of the 2025-26 Malaysian Super League season.

The 28-year-old marksman joins The Jangs with an impressive track record, bringing experience from both domestic and international football. Esso rose to prominence in the Ghana Premier League, having featured for Ebusua Dwarfs and Dreams FC, where he consistently displayed goal-scoring prowess and attacking flair.

His time abroad includes a notable stint with Algerian powerhouse MC Alger, where he notched 11 goals and provided five assists in 66 appearances across all competitions. Esso returned to Ghana for the 2024-25 campaign with Dreams FC, enjoying a standout season by scoring 11 goals in 32 games—a performance that drew the attention of Negeri Sembilan’s scouting team.
