Head coach of Bechem United, Kobina Amissah, has admitted that the scoreline in his side’s defeat to Nations FC was disappointing, despite acknowledging the strength of the home team.

Bechem United suffered a 3-0 loss to Nations FC in their Ghana Premier League clash on Friday at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Amissah accepted the result but insisted the margin of defeat was the biggest concern for his side.

“So far so good. The score margin is our problem, but the defeat is not a surprise because they played at home and had everything at their disposal. We did well in the second half, so better luck next time for us,” the coach said.

The result leaves Bechem United in a difficult position on the league table as the season approaches its final stretch. The Hunters currently sit 13th in the standings with nine matches remaining.

With the battle to avoid relegation intensifying, Amissah and his players will be looking to quickly regroup and improve their performances in the remaining fixtures in order to secure enough points to stay in the top flight.
