Head coach Kobina Amissah says Bechem United are feeling the pressure ahead of their important Week 32 encounter against Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League.

The Hunters will travel away for the fixture as they continue their push for a strong finish to the 2025/26 campaign. Bechem United head into the match in solid form, having recorded three victories, one draw and one defeat in their last five league outings.

Despite the positive run, Amissah admitted the current league standings have intensified the pressure on his players, especially with several teams around them also fighting for valuable points.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, the Bechem United coach revealed that morale within the squad remains high ahead of the trip.

“The morale is encouraging for what I’ve been seeing since yesterday and this morning which is the morale has been very encouraging. If you watch the table very carefully you will see that there’s a pressure on us especially those down us that have 41, 41, 41 and they are all playing at home and we are away team,” he told Bechem United TV.

“And when we are going to play away it is 50/50 either you draw you lose or you win. But the advantage over when you are playing home, you have so many advantages in terms of the supporters, how they will chant, how they will sing, how they encourage the players on the field.

“Sometimes away team will be looking for draw but if the opportunity comes that you have to win then that you have to make good use of it,”

The match is expected to play a significant role in shaping Bechem United’s position as the league season approaches its final stretch.
