Veteran coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle is edging closer to a return to club football, with talks underway that could see him take charge of Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks in the coming days according to media reports.

The Swedru-based club has been without a permanent head coach since the early-year resignation of Egyptian tactician Ahmed Fathi, prompting the Black-Whites to begin an extensive search for a suitable replacement.

In the interim, assistant coach Joe Agyemang has been leading the team, but results have been hard to come by. Under his supervision, All Blacks have recorded two draws and one defeat in three league matches, leaving the club eager to stabilize its technical direction.

Local reports indicate that negotiations between Swedru All Blacks and Kassim Mingle have progressed significantly, with both parties said to be close to finalizing an agreement.

It has also been widely suggested that the current Black Galaxies coach has completed all major discussions and could officially be unveiled soon, pending a formal announcement from the club.

After 20 matches, the club sits 11th on the table with 24 points and faces a tough test in their next fixture, an away trip to defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars. The club will be hoping that the former Nations FC and Bechem United gaffer will join them soon.
