Swedru All Blacks head coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has voiced his frustration after his side suffered a narrow defeat to Basake Holy Stars, insisting his team deserved a better result.

Holy Stars strengthened their survival push with a 1-0 win over the All Blacks in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 23 encounter at the AAK II Sports Stadium in Ampain.

Reacting to the result, Mingle was disappointed with his team’s wastefulness in front of goal, arguing that All Blacks had the better opportunities but failed to capitalise.

“It was a balanced game, but we should have won the match. We had our chances and couldn’t utilize them. Our opponent did not create chances to score us but we created chances and wasted them. Holy Stars had a penalty and converted to win,” he said.

The result eases Holy Stars further away from the relegation zone, while Swedru All Blacks remain in danger, with the fight for survival set to intensify as the season enters its decisive phase.
