Karela United head coach Nurudeen Amadu has reaffirmed his commitment to steering the club clear of relegation as the Ghana Premier League season enters its decisive phase.

Following a narrow 1-0 loss to Nations FC on matchday 26, Karela United find themselves just hovering above the drop zone. With 25 points from 25 matches, every game now becomes crucial in their battle for survival.

Speaking after the defeat, Coach Amadu stressed the team’s ultimate objective for the remainder of the season.

“The ultimate is to escape relegation at the end of the season,” Amadu said.

The experienced tactician, who took charge midway through the campaign, believes the team has what it takes to stay up and is focused on managing the pressure as they navigate the challenging run-in.

“We are managing the situation, and I believe we can come out strong. We just have to keep working and take our chances,” the coach added.

As the season nears its climax, Karela will need to show both mental toughness and tactical discipline to avoid the dreaded drop.
