Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani believes his side’s 2–2 draw with Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday afternoon was an unfair reflection of their dominant performance in the Week 7 Ghana Premier League clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking after the pulsating encounter, Dramani expressed disappointment that his team failed to convert their control of the game into a deserved victory.

“We definitely should have won the game hands down. First 15 minutes, we created some good chances, but I still think we need to improve our decision-making. In the second half, we still dominated play. We played in their half,”
the Phobians’ coach stated.

Despite taking the lead twice in the game, Hearts of Oak were pegged back by a resilient Gold Stars side that took their limited chances to salvage a point.

Dramani admitted that while his team showed quality in their buildup play, lapses in concentration and poor decision-making at crucial moments cost them the win.

“When we lost our balance is when they capitalised on. Going forward, we need to make the right decisions. There is a lot we need to improve for us,”
he added.

The Phobians will look to bounce back to winning ways when they travel to face Holy Stars on Sunday, November 2, as they aim to climb higher in the standings and sustain their title challenge.
