Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has confirmed the appointment of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as the club’s new head coach, following a comprehensive evaluation of the team’s performance during the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season.
The announcement was made via an official club statement released on Thursday, June 20, 2025. Dramani takes over immediately and will lead the Phobians on a two-year contract as the club looks to restructure and re-energize its technical team ahead of the new season.
“Following a comprehensive evaluation of the technical team and player performance in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season, the Board of Accra Hearts of Oak has implemented strategic changes to strengthen the team. Effective immediately, Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been appointed as Head Coach on a two-year contract,” the statement read.

He also served as an assistant coach for the Ghana Black Stars during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and has previously led both the Ghana U-20 (Black Satellites) and U-23 (Black Meteors) national teams. Coach Dramani is expected to meet with the current squad in the coming days to outline his footballing philosophy and begin preparations for two key upcoming fixtures — the 2025 President’s Cup and the Eko International Tournament in Nigeria.
This appointment forms part of Hearts of Oak’s broader vision to return to domestic and continental dominance, with the club aiming to build a competitive and tactically disciplined side under Dramani’s guidance.
The club’s management concluded the statement by expressing full support for the new coach and his mission to restore Hearts of Oak to the pinnacle of Ghanaian football.
