GPL: Asare Bediako credits Legon Cities for their victory

Gaffer for Young Apostles, Joseph Asare Bediako has admitted Legon Cities deserved the win over them.

Legon Cities recorded a 2-0 victory over Young Apostles at the University of Ghana sports stadium to wrap up  match week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

Newbies, Young Apostles were hoping to record back to back victories from last weekend but Legon Cities proved themselves strong in the game and took the maximum points.

Speaking after the game, the man in the dugout for Young Apostles, Asare Bediako says Legon Cities were more clinical than his team but assured fans of victory in the next fixture.

“This game was not that tough. It was 50/50. Legon Cities FC took their chances, and they won. “To the fans, we are going to prepare well for our next game, which will be a tough game, so that we can get the win to make them happy.” He said.

Young Apostles occupy the 13th position on the log and will lock horns with league leaders Bibiani Goldstars in the next fixture.
