Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara remains hesitant to declare his side as title contenders just yet after a commanding 2-0 win over Young Apostles.

Playing at the University of Ghana Stadium, the Phobians put on an impressive display, securing all three points with goals from Michael Awuah Mensah in the first half and Hamza Issah in the second.

Despite the strong showing, Ouattara was measured in his response when asked if Hearts were now favorites to win the league.

“As to whether we will win the league, I can only reply to you on 8th June,” Ouattara told AFA Sports Channel, referring to the final day of the season.

Looking ahead, the Phobians face another stern test against Dreams FC in their next outing. “Our next game is against Dreams FC, and that’s another tough game. We’re going to prepare for the game,” he added.

With momentum on their side, Hearts of Oak will be eager to maintain their winning form as they chase domestic glory.
