Ghana’s national U-15 team clinched the title at the 2025 Mundialito Promise tournament in Eilat, Israel, after an emphatic 4-1 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final on Saturday.

The young Ghanaian side, coached by former international Yaw Preko, capped off a dominant tournament display with a commanding performance in the final.

Goals from Robinho Gavi, James Ofori, Ebenezer Adjei, and Abdulai Aziz Issah sealed the win, while Maccabi Tel Aviv grabbed a late consolation in the closing minute.

Having already defeated the Israeli champions 4-1 in the tournament opener, Ghana’s U-15 team proved their superiority once again in the championship match.

Their road to the final was equally impressive. On Day Two of the tournament, they recorded a 2-0 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva before hammering Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-0 to book their spot in the final showdown.

One of the standout performers throughout the tournament was winger John Andor, whose dazzling displays earned him the Best Player of the Tournament award, capping a memorable outing for both him and the team.

The victory not only secures silverware but also reaffirms Ghana’s commitment to youth football development.
