Ghana’s national U-15 boys’ team has kicked off their participation in the prestigious Mundialito tournament in Eilat, Israel, with two emphatic victories that underscore their ambition and quality.

The young side, coached by former Ghana international Yaw Preko, made a strong statement in their opening game by defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv’s U-15 team 4-1.

Displaying fluid attacking play and disciplined defending, the team set the tone for what promises to be an exciting campaign.

Ghana followed up that performance with an even more dominant display, routing Maccabi Bnei Eilat 8-0 in their second match of the day. The comprehensive victory places them in an excellent position to advance to the tournament final.

The Mundialito tournament is internationally recognized as a breeding ground for future stars, with over 1,000 former participants having gone on to professional football careers.
