Ghana Rugby Director Calls for Peace and Safety Ahead of 2024 General Elections
The Director of Ghana Rugby Union, Miss Rafatu Inusah, has urged members of the Rugby fraternity to prioritize safety and uphold the values of peace and unity during the election period.
In a statement, Miss Inusah encouraged players, officials, and supporters to participate in the democratic process responsibly, while avoiding violence and unnecessary risks.
“I would like to encourage my players and the team, Ghana Rugby in general, to stay safe. Go and vote wisely, stay away from violence. After voting, just go home and wait for the results—Ghana first,” she said.
The Rugby Union, known for promoting discipline, respect, and sportsmanship, is leveraging its platform to advocate for peaceful conduct during this crucial national event.
