Team Ghana has ended their impressive outing at the 2nd Edition of the ANOCA Zone III Games held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, with a total haul of 10 medals, marking another proud moment for the nation’s sporting fraternity.

The Ghanaian contingent finished the multi-sport competition with 1 Gold, 4 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals, showcasing talent and determination across various disciplines.

In one of the standout performances of the event, Ghana’s volleyball team emerged gold medalists, overcoming stiff opposition from regional rivals to secure the nation’s only top podium finish.

The country also picked up four silver medals, coming from both the men’s and women’s handball teams and karate-do, while the remaining five bronze medals were earned through commendable efforts in taekwondo and karate-do.

This year’s ANOCA Zone III Games brought together athletes from several West African nations to compete in disciplines such as athletics, volleyball, handball, taekwondo, and karate, among others.
