GFA Extends Partnership with Decathlon Ghana to Boost Women’s Football Development
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially renewed its partnership with Decathlon Ghana, solidifying their collaboration for another four years.
The agreement reinforces Decathlon’s role as the official Sports Retail Partner of the GFA and highlights their shared commitment to advancing women’s and youth football in Ghana.
GFA President, Kurt Okraku expressed excitement about the extended partnership, saying:
“The Association is not only extremely excited about the extension of this partnership that supports the development of Women’s football but the affirmation of the trust you have in the leadership of Ghana Football. We look forward to even more collaboration, as we break new grounds in Women’s and youth football development,” he said.
As part of the renewed deal, Decathlon Ghana will continue to provide training equipment, including footballs, cones, and bibs, essential for programs like the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. Additionally, the sports retail giant will facilitate the sale of football paraphernalia and other merchandise, further promoting the sport across the country.
