Newly appointed Nations FC head coach, Stephen Frimpong Manso, has expressed confidence in his ability to transform the club’s performance as he begins his tenure with the Ghana Premier League side.

The experienced tactician, who led Bibiani GoldStars to their historic league title last season, has signed a two-year contract with Nations FC following the dismissal of Kassim Ocansey Mingle.

Speaking in his first interview with the club’s media team, Frimpong Manso outlined his immediate priorities and emphasized his commitment to improving the team’s overall performance.

“We’ve seen a lot of things here, and we believe we can work to improve the team,” Frimpong Manso said. “We’ve come to do our part to make sure that where the team has reached, we will also try to make a mark here at Nations. In away matches, we’ve played three games without a goal, so that’s one of the concerns we need to fix.”

The new coach, who is known for his tactical discipline and player development skills, has already begun assessing his squad to identify key areas that need strengthening, particularly in attack.

Frimpong Manso’s appointment marks a new chapter for Nations FC, whose management is eager to steer the club back into top form after a disappointing start to the campaign.

The 65-year-old will take charge of his first official game on Friday, October 31, when Nations FC travel to Bechem to face Bechem United in a crucial Matchweek 8 encounter.

Fans of the club will be watching closely to see if Manso’s arrival can spark a turnaround and revive Nations FC’s ambitions in the ongoing league season.
