Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has officially been appointed as a member of the Black Galaxies management committee.

The committee’s mandate is to shape the strategic vision of the Black Galaxies, ensure player welfare, and prepare the team adequately for upcoming continental competitions.

The reconstituted body will be led by Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Executive Council member and CEO of Bechem United, while Daniel Agboga, head of the Volta Regional Football Association, will serve as Vice Chairman.

Badu joins other notable football administrators on the committee, including Michael Kofi Oduro of Na-God FC and Daniel Asante of Wamanafo Mighty Royals. His appointment is viewed as a major boost, with the former Black Stars deputy captain bringing invaluable insight from his international career and expertise in player development.

During his playing career, Badu earned 78 caps for Ghana and served as deputy captain of the Black Stars, gaining recognition as one of the most reliable midfielders of his generation. His involvement with the Galaxies’ management is seen as an opportunity to channel that experience into supporting the next generation of Ghanaian talent.
