Heart of Lions F.C. captain Ebenezer Abban has delivered a strong message to supporters, promising a response when his side faces Accra Hearts of Oak S.C. in their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter.

The Kpando-based club is looking to bounce back after a painful exit from the MTN FA Cup, where they were eliminated in the quarterfinals following a 4–3 penalty shootout defeat to Dreams F.C. after a 1–1 draw in regulation time.

The experienced defender has turned attention to Friday’s crucial league clash, viewing it as the perfect opportunity to respond.

“We will beat Hearts of Oak on Friday to compensate our fans for the MTN FA Cup defeat,” he stated.

The fixture holds significant importance for both sides in the Ghana Premier League standings, with Hearts of Oak currently sitting fourth, while Heart of Lions occupy tenth position.
