Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon was visibly pleased after his side responded in style to recent disappointment by recording a 2–0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The win marked an important turning point for Dreams, coming on the heels of a painful setback against Bibiani Gold Stars. Dormon revealed that the team’s mindset going into the match played a crucial role in securing all three points.

“On reflection, I’m a bit elevated because we came into this game on the backdrop of a painful defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars. We approached this game with the correct attitude and mentality to make sure we collected the three points,” he said after the final whistle.

While satisfied with the overall display, the Dreams FC boss was quick to point out areas that still need attention, particularly in attack.

“Overall, it was a decent performance and a decent result, but we have a lot to correct in the final third,” Dormon admitted.

The victory lifts Dreams FC to 12th place on the Ghana Premier League table after Matchday 17, easing some pressure as the club looks to build momentum heading into the next round of fixtures.
