Debibi United and Attram De Visser Share Six-Goal Thriller in X1 DOL Super Cup Opener
The 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup got off to an entertaining start at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, with Debibi United and Attram De Visser producing a dramatic 3-3 draw in the opening Group A fixture.
Debibi United, who recently earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League, took the lead shortly before half-time when Ibrahim Alhassan found the back of the net in the 41st minute.
Their advantage, however, lasted barely 60 seconds as Attram Jnr responded immediately for Attram De Visser to restore parity in the 42nd minute.
Debibi United came out strongly after the break and regained the lead in the 57th minute. Forward Kwadwo Antwi kept his composure from the penalty spot to make it 2-1.
The promoted side then appeared to take control of the contest five minutes later when they added a third goal in the 62nd minute, opening up a two-goal cushion.
Attram De Visser refused to accept defeat and began their fightback in the 69th minute, reducing the deficit to 3-2 and setting up a tense final period.
The comeback was completed deep into stoppage time when Thomas Okyere struck in the 90+2nd minute to level the score and rescue a point for the Accra-based outfit.
The six-goal encounter provided a thrilling start to the X1 DOL Super Cup and served as an early indication of the competitive action expected throughout the tournament.
Both teams take a point from the opening Group A fixture, with attention now turning to their upcoming matches as they continue their pursuit of a place in the next stage.
