Ghana coach, Chris Hughton after beating Liberia 3-1 last Tuesday in an international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium says, he is starting to get excited with his players performance.

The Black Stars last two games has been successful with two wins, scoring 5 goals and conceding two. Ghana came from behind to beat Central African Republic 2-1 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium before lashing Liberia 3-1 in Accra.

After the performances in the games against CAR and Liberia, the Irish trainer Chris Hughton says the team is growing in confidence and he is getting excited.

“I have seen enough in the two games to always give me confidence. There are still things we could have done better. In the first half, we gave the ball away,” he said after the game against Liberia.

“The pitch was difficult with obviously the rain but I thought we gave the ball away too easily at times in that first half period…but I’ve seen enough in the two games to be confident and optimistic and looking forward to the next camp.”

The Black Stars will regroup again next month they face Mexico in an international friendly.
