Black Queens attacker Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah delivered a standout performance on Sunday, netting twice to inspire Nottingham Forest Women to a 3–1 victory over Sunderland in the Women’s Super League 2.

The Ghanaian forward, who featured from kickoff and stayed on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, was at the heart of Forest’s attacking threat throughout the Round 10 fixture at the City Ground.

Forest struck first in the 19th minute when Boye-Hlorkah calmly finished off a well-timed pass from defender Chloe Mustaki. The early breakthrough energized the hosts, who doubled their lead just 12 minutes later through Aimee Claypole, putting Forest firmly in control heading into halftime.

Sunderland attempted to claw their way back into the contest after the interval and were rewarded when Emily Scarr converted in the 69th minute to reduce the deficit. But their momentum was short-lived, as Forest quickly reasserted dominance.

With the game winding down, Boye-Hlorkah sealed the result in the 87th minute, confidently slotting home her second of the match to secure all three points for Nottingham Forest.

Her brace brings her tally to four goals in 10 league outings this season, underlining her growing influence for both club and country.
