Antoine Semenyo confident Black Stars are prepared for Chad showdown
Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has assured fans that the Black Stars are fully prepared for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.
Following Ghana’s failure to secure a spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the team has now turned its full attention to the World Cup qualification campaign.
The Black Stars will take on Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4 at 1:00 pm, before returning home to face Mali in a crucial encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 8.
Semenyo, who has enjoyed a bright start to the 2025/26 season with Bournemouth, expressed optimism about the team’s readiness for the task ahead.
“We will be ready for the game because we’ve got a good team,” he told the media.
The Black Stars have jet off to Chad.
