Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has urged the Black Stars to secure all six points in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

Ghana will take on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, at 19:00 GMT, before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24.

With Ghana’s recent performances under scrutiny, Agyemang-Badu, who was part of the Black Stars squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, insists that nothing short of victory in both matches will be acceptable.

“Operation six points. Chad and Madagascar must go down,” he declared in an interview with Sporty FM.

“If we can’t beat them, then we have no business going to the World Cup,” he added, emphasizing the importance of these fixtures in Ghana’s qualification hopes.

After four matches in Group I, the Black Stars sit level on nine points with Comoros, following crucial victories against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR).

A strong showing in these qualifiers will keep Ghana on course for a place at the 2026 World Cup, set to be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
