2025 Unity Cup : Ibrahim Sulemana Joins Black Stars Camp
Atalanta midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has officially joined the Black Stars camp in London after resolving visa issues that had delayed his participation in the ongoing Unity Cup.
The 22-year-old missed Ghana’s 2-1 defeat to Nigeria in the semifinal on Wednesday night due to the travel complication. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) had earlier confirmed that Sulemana was awaiting visa clearance, which kept him from linking up with the squad in time for the high-profile encounter.
Sulemana finally arrived in camp on Thursday evening and trained with the team ahead of their third-place playoff fixture against Trinidad & Tobago.
His inclusion comes as a timely boost for head coach Otto Addo, who is looking to end the international window on a high. With several key players still unavailable, Sulemana’s energy and creativity in midfield could prove vital in helping the Black Stars finish the tournament on a strong note.
