WAFU A&B U-20 Boys Cup of Nations Postponed: New Dates to Be Announced Soon
The West African Football Union (WAFU) has officially announced the postponement of the highly anticipated WAFU A&B U-20 Boys Cup of Nations, which was initially slated to run from June 15 to 30, 2025, in Prampram, Ghana.
In a brief statement released on Tuesday, the organizers expressed regret over the rescheduling of the tournament and assured that a new date will be communicated in due course.
“We regret to announce that the WAFU A&B U-20 Boys Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Prampram from June 15-30, 2025, has been postponed. A new date for the tournament will be announced in due course,” the statement read.
WAFU has urged all participating teams, match officials, and stakeholders to remain calm and monitor official communication platforms for updates on the revised schedule.
“We kindly request that participating teams, officials, and stakeholders remain patient and keep an eye on our official communication channels for updates on the revised schedule,” the statement continued.
The decision to reschedule the tournament, according to the organizers, is aimed at ensuring the best possible conditions are in place for a smooth and successful competition.
