“Ten Against Eleven Is Not a Game We Should Draw” – Camara Laments Kotoko Stalemate
Mohamed Camara has expressed frustration after Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless draw by Vision FC in the Week 24 round of the Ghana Premier League.
The encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium ended without a goal, despite Kotoko enjoying a numerical advantage for the final 20 minutes of the contest. Vision FC were reduced to ten men, but the Porcupine Warriors failed to capitalize.
Camara, who delivered a standout display between the posts, was named Man of the Match after producing crucial saves to secure a point for his side. However, the individual accolade did little to mask his disappointment over the result.
“Yeah, I’m disappointed we couldn’t win the game. In this game, we were expected to win. Ten against eleven is not a game we should draw. We should have won,” Mohamed Camara said in his post-match interview.
Despite the setback, the goalkeeper remains optimistic about the team’s prospects moving forward.
“But it’s not over. We will try to win the game and continue from there,” he added.
Kotoko’s draw means they miss the chance to collect maximum points at home, but Camara’s performance ensured they avoided defeat on an afternoon where the attack could not find a breakthrough.
