Startimes Poised to Return as Official Broadcaster for Ghana Premier League

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council Member Nana Sarfo Oduro has hinted at the imminent return of Startimes as the official broadcaster of the Ghana Premier League.

Startimes previously held the broadcast rights for the Ghana Premier League, providing extensive coverage that boosted the league’s visibility both locally and internationally.

Speaking on the development, Sarfo Oduro revealed that negotiations with the pay-TV giant are nearing completion, with a deal likely to be finalized in time for the second round of the ongoing league season.

“As I speak to you, we are almost closing up with Startimes, and it is likely they will return in the second round to broadcast our games,” he stated on Asempa FM.

Their potential return is expected to rejuvenate the league’s media presence and enhance access for fans worldwide.
