Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has praised his side’s resilience after earning a valuable point in a goalless stalemate with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

The Bibires delivered a disciplined performance at the University of Ghana Stadium, frustrating the Phobians despite sustained pressure and a flurry of chances from the home side. Ofori Antwi was the standout performer, producing a series of crucial saves to ensure Chelsea avoided defeat.

Reflecting on the encounter, the experienced shot-stopper admitted it was a demanding contest but expressed satisfaction with the outcome.

“The game was very tough. Playing against a compact team like Hearts of Oak is always not easy but at least a draw away is better for us, so we will go back and work towards our next home game,” he said.

The result keeps Berekum Chelsea in 15th place on the league table with 27 points, as they continue their battle to climb away from the lower end of the standings.

Chelsea will now shift focus to their next fixture at the Golden City Park, where they are set to host Young Apostles in a bid to turn their solid defensive showing into maximum points.
