Medeama Unveil Etse Dogli as New Signing

Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have reinforced their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season by securing the signature of midfielder Etse Dogli from Heart of Lions on a three-year contract.

The 22-year-old joins the Tarkwa-based club as preparations intensify for another domestic title challenge and a return to continental football in the CAF Champions League.

Dogli earned widespread recognition during his spell with Heart of Lions, where he developed into one of the league’s most consistent midfield performers. His impressive displays also earned him a place in Ghana’s home-based national team, the Black Galaxies.

Known for his relentless work rate, composure in possession and ability to dictate play from midfield, Dogli is expected to bring added balance and creativity to Medeama’s engine room.

His ability to recover possession, distribute the ball efficiently and link defence with attack makes him a valuable addition to a side preparing for the demands of competing on multiple fronts.

The move reflects Medeama’s determination to strengthen key areas of the squad as they seek to build on last season’s league triumph and make a strong impression in Africa’s premier club competition.

Head coach Ibrahim Tanko will now have additional options in midfield as he prepares his squad for a challenging campaign that includes defending the Premier League crown while competing against some of the continent’s best clubs.
