Medeama SC Confident of Winning Ghana Premier League Title

Medeama SC Communications Director, Nana Effah Asare, has expressed strong confidence that his outfit will reclaim the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the ongoing 2024/25 season.

The Tarkwa-based club, winners of the 2021/22 season, currently sits in sixth place with 21 points after 13 matches, boasting six wins, three draws, and four losses.

Despite the early competition, Effah Asare believes Medeama has what it takes to finish the season on top.

“It’s unfortunate we couldn’t defend the title last season. We’ve learned from our mistakes. It’s too early to call, but our objective is to win the league and secure a spot in Africa. I can emphasize that Medeama will win the Premier League title this season,” Effah Asare stated in an interview.

The club recently parted ways with head coach Nebojsa Kapor following the expiration of his one-year contract.

Medeama’s  GPL Match Day 14 encounter with Karela FC has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Due to the involvement of six of their players in the Black Galaxies team  the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved the rescheduling of the game.
