Massive Turnout for Asempa FM’s ‘Walk with the Stars’ in Accra

The Walk with the Stars event, organised by Asempa FM (94.7 FM) under the Multimedia Group Limited, took place today with thousands of participants joining the lively health and fitness initiative.

The walk, which began at the Multimedia Group car park, saw a colourful procession to the Accra Sports Stadium. The event attracted a wide range of personalities, including politicians, musicians, club administrators and media figures.

Among the notable faces were Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff at the Presidency, gospel musician Grace Ashy, Director-General for the National Sports Authority, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Ghanaian boxer, Theophilus Lopaz  as well as representatives from both the NPP and NDC.

Upon arrival at the Accra Sports Stadium, participants were treated to an energetic aerobics session, followed by free health screenings to encourage healthy living. The atmosphere was further charged with live performances from musicians, creating a blend of fitness and entertainment.

Variety games were also organised to keep the crowd engaged, making the day not just about exercise but also about relaxation and bonding.

Host of Asempa FM’s flagship political talk show Ekosiisen, Osei Bonsu, assured participants that next year’s Walk with the Stars would be “even bigger and better.”

Several dignitaries and participants also urged the Multimedia Group to organise the initiative more regularly to help Ghanaians adopt healthier lifestyles while enjoying a social outing.

The Walk with the Stars  has affirmed its place as one of the most anticipated health and social events in the capital, blending fitness, entertainment, and unity across political and social divides.
