The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, has called on all Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars as the team approaches the decisive final rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency expressed strong belief in the squad’s determination and ability to deliver qualification to the global stage.

“Our Black Stars have shown incredible determination and skill throughout this campaign,” he said.

“I am optimistic about their ability to secure qualification and bring glory to Ghana. With your support through prayers, cheers, and positive thoughts, we can lift their spirits and motivate them to succeed.”

Ghana currently lead their qualifying group with 19 points, holding a three-point cushion over second-placed Madagascar. The standings give the Black Stars a crucial advantage heading into matchdays 9 and 10, which will determine who advances to the 2026 tournament.

Emphasizing the importance of unity, Kofi Adams urged Ghanaians to remain steadfast in their support for the team.

“Our journey to the tournament is within reach,” he affirmed.

“With faith, collective effort, and the relentless spirit of our Black Stars, I believe they will rise to the occasion and bring honour to Ghana.”

He concluded his message by encouraging continued national backing through positive energy and belief as the team prepares for the final hurdle.
