Head coach of Bechem United, Kobina Amissah, has acknowledged a sense of relief following his side’s recent upturn in form in the Ghana Premier League.

Back-to-back victories over Aduana FC and FC Samartex have provided a timely boost for the Hunters, lifting them to 10th place and easing fears of relegation.

Amissah admitted that the pressure of operating near the bottom of the table had been intense, making the recent results particularly significant for both the team and his own peace of mind.

“I’m very happy because when you are close to the relegation zone, there is more pressure on you, and the pressure is too much for me to contain. So, this win has cushioned me. I’m happy with the away win,” he told Bechem United TV.

The improved run has not only strengthened Bechem United’s position but also injected confidence into the squad as they approach a crucial phase of the season.

Despite the progress, Amissah insists the focus remains on maintaining momentum and climbing further up the table.

“In the next home game, we will back up our performance and get another win so that we come up,” he added.

Attention now turns to a stern test against league leaders Medeama SC, with Bechem United aiming to build on their resurgence when they host the top side in their next league outing.

With confidence growing and pressure easing, the Hunters will be eager to prove their recent form is no fluke as they push for safety in the closing stages of the campaign.
