Kassim Mingle named new head coach of Black Galaxies
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed Nations Football Club boss Kassim Mingle Ocansey as the new head coach of the Black Galaxies, Ghana’s CHAN national team.
The appointment was officially announced on Wednesday, September 10, through a statement issued by the GFA.
Mingle, who has earned praise for his tactical work in the domestic league, will now lead the Galaxies as they prepare for upcoming continental assignments. He will be supported by a strong technical team assembled by the FA.
Berekum Chelsea’s head coach, Samuel Boadu, will serve as his assistant, bringing valuable top-flight experience to the setup. Joining them is Godwin Attram, former Black Satellites skipper and current head coach of Attram Di Visser, who will also act as an assistant coach.
In addition, ex-Black Stars goalkeeper Stephen Ahorlu has been appointed to oversee the goalkeeping department of the team.
The new technical team is expected to hit the ground running as preparations begin for the Galaxies’ next competitive engagements.
