Joseph Paintsil Ecstatic After LA Galaxy’s 2024 MLS Cup Triumph

Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has expressed his joy and gratitude after helping LA Galaxy secure the 2024 MLS Cup title with a thrilling 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, December 7.

Paintsil was instrumental in the victory, scoring the opening goal of the final.

Latching onto a precise through ball from midfield, he showcased his composure by calmly slotting the ball past the Red Bulls’ goalkeeper, giving LA Galaxy an early lead.

Just four minutes later, Dejan Joveljic doubled the lead Sean Nealis scored the consolation for Red Bull making it 2-1, but the Galaxy held on to their lead throughout an intense second half.

Following the triumph, Paintsil took to social media platform X to celebrate the win and thank his teammates, staff, and fans for their support throughout the season.

“MLS Cup delivered. Great shift from everyone at this wonderful club. This is for you G’s✨, we did this together,” Paintsil wrote in his post.
