Forward of Berekum Chelsea, Jonah Attuquaye, has expressed disappointment following his side’s defeat to Vision FC in Matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Bibires suffered a 3–1 loss to the Tema-based side, a result that further complicates their campaign as they edge closer to the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Vision FC strengthened their position on the league table with another positive result.

Speaking after the match, Attuquaye admitted the defeat was difficult to accept, particularly after his team had shown promise earlier in the game.

“We did well in the first half, even taking the lead, but we couldn’t maintain it and ended up losing. This result is tough for me and the entire team. We’ve lost, so we need to correct our mistakes and push further up the league table. Our current position in the standings is very poor,” he said.

The result leaves Berekum Chelsea with plenty of work to do in the remaining matches as they look to climb away from the lower end of the table and secure their status in the top flight.
