Black Stars forward Inaki Williams has urged Ghanaians to rally behind the team as they gear up for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

The Athletic Club striker has been named in Otto Addo’s squad for the international window and is eager to replicate his club form on the national stage.

In a promotional video shared by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Williams encouraged fans to show their support, emphasizing the importance of unity in their quest for qualification.

“Hi, this is Inaki Williams. We need you to support us in these crucial games because together we are stronger.”

The 30-year-old forward has been in sensational form for Athletic Club this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists across all competitions. He will be looking to carry that momentum into Ghana’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

The four-time African champions currently sit second in Group I with nine points, level with group leaders Comoros. The Black Stars have recorded three wins and one defeat from their opening four matches.

Ghana will face Chad at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in Accra on Friday, March 21, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT (7:00 PM local time). A victory would boost their chances of securing a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
