Hearts of Oak Set Sights on African Football Next Season- MD
Accra Hearts of Oak Managing Director, Delali Anku-Adiamah, has outlined the club’s ambition of returning to continental competition as their ultimate goal for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Phobians endured a frustrating start to the season, being held to a goalless draw by newly promoted Hohoe United at the Accra Sports Stadium. However, they bounced back on Matchday 2 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Dreams FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Monday.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Mr. Anku-Adiamah stressed that the club must be relentless in pursuit of victories if they are to achieve their dream of featuring in Africa next season.
“Our target is to win every game. Of course, we dropped points in our first game, but we plan to play in Africa next season, so we must win every game,” he said.
The win against Dreams FC has restored confidence in Didi Dramani’s side, who now sit comfortably within the top half of the table. With continental qualification set as a clear benchmark, every fixture has taken on added importance for the former champions.
Hearts will next turn their focus to Matchday 3, where they welcome Eleven Wonders to the Accra Sports Stadium, aiming to extend their unbeaten run and keep their African dream firmly on track.
