Hearts of Oak Midfielder Abdul Karim Confident of Victory Against Bechem United
Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Karim has declared that the Phobians are targeting nothing short of victory when they face Bechem United in their Week 4 clash of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The 23-year-old insists that only three points will satisfy the team, emphasizing that a draw would be treated with the same disappointment as a defeat.
“Our preparations are good. Everyone is ready to feature in that match. For me, I’m happy I will be facing my former club. Everyone is feeling good after our first three matches, and we are working to achieve our targets in the first five matches. Hearts of Oak is a big club and as a result a draw is like a loss to us,” Abdul Karim told Hearts TV.
The midfielder, who previously played for Bechem United, also urged fans to expect an entertaining display. “Everyone should come and watch good football. It’s not about a draw and a loss, we are coming for a win,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will make the trip to Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Friday, October 3, for the highly anticipated fixture. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm as both sides look to climb the early-season table.
