Ghana’s women rugby team announced for Africa 7s tournament
Ghana has announced its national rugby squad for the upcoming Africa Women’s Rugby 7s tournament slated to take place this weekend in Ghana.
Earmarked to take place from November 9-10, 2024, at the University of Ghana Rugby field, the tournament will have a total of 12 countries participating. The nations are South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Mauritius, Tunisia, Zambia, Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana.
In view of that, Ghana has announced 12 players for the competition.
The players are Anita Halm, Haruna Nimatu, Barikisu A. Mumuni, Jamila Awal, Paulina Y. Mensah, Radha Arthur, Racheal D.N Tawia, Sheila Tettey, Mary Plange, Grace Aduntira, Patience Musah, and Kadija Adams.
