Ghana’s Culinary Judges Return to the World Stage World Food Championships™ 2025: Indianapolis, U.S.A.

Spread the love

Chef Annie Yayra Hiamey and Prof. E.K. Wallace, Ghana’s first-ever judges at the World Food Championships™ (WFC), will return to the global stage from October 16 –19, 2025, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion, located within the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center in Indianapolis, U.S.A.

Their presence reaffirms a legacy of Culinary Excellence – representing Ghana’s flavor diplomacy on the world’s most competitive food sport platform.

Prof. Wallace will judge the World Vegetarian Championship, while Chef Annie will oversee the World BBQ Championship (Tailgates, Ribs, Briskets). Together, they will also judge the Battle of the Branches: WFC Edition, a military culinary competition supporting Veterans.

Nana Yaa Nyarkoa I, a respected female Chief and passionate advocate for youth empowerment and agribusiness, joins the Ghanaian delegation for this year’s legacy activations at the World Food Championships. As part of Ghana’s strategic positioning for the 2026 edition, she will produce a documentary that captures the essence of our culinary journey, diaspora engagement, and sovereign presence. This film will serve as both a legacy archive and a ceremonial tool – crowning Ghana’s readiness and rhythm on the global flavor stage.

As the Founding Media Partner for Ghana’s delegation to the World Food Championships, Multimedia Group Ghana will document, amplify, and crown every segment of the culinary competition.

We are honored to crown Oyelakin Dinners as the Official Dinnerware Sponsor of the Food Bowl Project™, Ghana’s ceremonial entry to the World Food Championships, and the World African Food Festival™. Their partnership ensures that every plate becomes a scroll of flavor and every table a stage of legacy.

The full festival launches in Dallas, Texas, from December 13 –15, 2025, and will rotate globally – activating new diaspora cities each year. This sovereign arc will culminate in Flavors of the Throne™, a global culinary beauty pageant will be hosted in Ghana in 2026, crowning Africa’s moment on the world stage.

Oyelakin Dinners brings timeless beauty, cultural symbolism, and premium craftsmanship to every segment. Their African-inspired ceramics – featuring motifs like Mudcloth, Ndebele, Ankara, and Kente – transform each culinary moment into a vessel of memory, pride, and ancestral rhythm.

As the world’s largest food sport competition, the World Food Championships offers media outlets unparalleled access to culinary excellence, global storytelling, and high-impact content creation.

Media partners gain access to 1,500+ chefs from 30+ countries, 10 billion+ impressions, and exclusive coverage opportunities – from judging scenes to diaspora storytelling.

Ghana’s path to WFC 2026 begins with The Food Bowl™, a qualifying event by The High Frontier that crowns chefs and home cooks with national pride and global opportunity.

Together, these activations mark Ghana’s bold ascent in global food sport, flavor diplomacy, and ceremonial legacy-building. Ghana is not just at the table – we are shaping it.
