Ghana Premier League Set for Thrilling Midweek Action as Matchday 21 Fixtures Resume

The Ghana Premier League is set to resume with a lineup of outstanding Matchday 21 fixtures to be played across eight venues on Tuesday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

This midweek round will feature intense regional derbies, high-stakes battles at the top of the table, and crucial encounters for teams fighting to escape relegation.

Gold Stars FC, currently second in the league, will kick off the midweek action as they host Heart of Lions at Duns Park in Bibiani.

In Tarkwa, Medeama SC will take on Basake Holy Stars in the Western derby at the T&A Stadium.  Meanwhile, the Bono derby promises fireworks as Young Apostles and Aduana FC face off in what is expected to be a fiercely contested encounter.

The action continues on Wednesday, April 2, with six crucial matches. One of the most anticipated fixtures will see Hearts of Oak make a long-awaited return to the Accra Sports Stadium to battle Nations FC.

Over in Kumasi, league leaders Asante Kotoko will host Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium in another heavyweight clash. Kotoko will be determined to maintain their position at the summit of the table.

At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Karela United, struggling to stay afloat, will take on Legon Cities in a must-win match for both sides.

Elsewhere, Vision FC will lock horns with defending champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema, hoping to bounce back from recent setbacks.

Dreams FC, enjoying a resurgence in form, face a tough battle against Bechem United at the Tuba AstroTurf in what promises to be a closely contested affair.
