GFA to Release 2025/26 Premier League Fixtures on August 4
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the official fixtures for the 2025/26 Premier League season will be released on Monday, August 4, 2025. This eagerly awaited announcement will provide clubs and fans with the full schedule of matches for the upcoming campaign.
According to the GFA, all 306 matches—covering 34 games for each of the 18 participating clubs—will be published on its official website and shared across its various social media platforms.
The new league season is set to kick off on the weekend of September 12, 2025, and run through to the weekend of May 23/24, 2026. These dates have been strategically selected to align with the 23rd FIFA World Cup, scheduled to begin on June 11 and end on July 19, 2026. This ensures that all domestic competitions conclude well in advance of the global tournament.
With the full calendar in hand, clubs will now be able to plan their logistics, training regimens, and squad rotation strategies more effectively throughout the season.
